[ See, the quiet wouldn't really bother Fabian by itself. Despite being a little oblivious - okay, very oblivious - he is very much aware that Gorgug talks the least out of the male half of the party. Even though it's kind of hard to beat Riz when that guy gets going, and Fabian also likes talking-- so it's only natural for Gorgug to be the more quiet one.
It's something Fabian doesn't mind. He can easily fill the empty air with his own chatter, which he occasionally does as they move through the forest - talking about how maybe they should've just taken the Hangman there, but it's not all that bad to be walking here with the two of them, talking about school back home, about how weird it is to not have heard some sort of new wild Fig and Kristen plan in a while without them around - and occasionally he just lets it linger in the air for a few moments.
So while the quiet tells him absolutely nothing about the fact that Gorgug is having a very different experience here than the half-elf himself, the grip on his hand is very noticable.
Especially when Fabian may be strong, but certainly not Gorgug levels of it. After a little while of his hand getting squeezed, it's kind of starting to feel like the half-orc may accidentally break some of Fabian's tiny finger bones, and it makes him turn his head to look at his friend--

Gorgug?
[ Fabian doesn't try to pull his hand out of the other's. But if there's no reason even after saying the other's name, Fabian turns to move around the other a little, just so he can get into Gorgug's field of view and wave his hand in front of the other's eyes as he repeats: ]
What is going on? You've been acting strange. [ Maybe not super strange.
But all of this happening in the middle of the eerie forest does just not seem like a good sign in general. ]
